Shipping & Delivery

Whether it's pickup or delivery, we are committed to providing excellence. For your convenience, we deliver and set up furniture 6 days a week, Monday – Saturday; 9 am – 8 pm. Our covered delivery area includes the following cities and their surrounding areas: Utica, Syracuse, Albany, and Ithaca. If you live outside of these areas and would like your furniture delivered to your home, arrangements can be made. Please consult with the sales associate. 

We know you want your new furniture in your home in a timely manner and we work efficiently to get it there. Upon purchase or shortly thereafter, a delivery day of your convenience will be assigned to you along with a 2-hour “time window”. This is an approximate “time window”. Lavoda Home Furniture shall not be held liable for the exact accuracy of arrival time. Please understand that traffic, inclement weather, and local emergencies may delay delivery.

If you prefer to pick up your furniture, please bring the bill of sale. Merchandise cannot be released without proper paperwork and identification. We shall not be held liable for damaged items or vehicles transporting articles once the customer has left the premises.

Please measure all doorways and rooms prior to ordering. Delivery personnel require that purchased items may be moved into place without the potential for damage to merchandise or premises.


Returns & Replacements

Lavoda Home Furniture takes pride in offering value on quality home furnishings. Merchandise received in good condition is not returnable or cancelable. No refunds are available.

However, Lavoda Home Furniture will honor and assist with all manufacturer warranties, if any. Manufacturer warranty policies vary depending on manufacturer and product type. Please ask a sales associate for details at time of purchase.


General Warranty Guidelines

  1. Manufacturer warranties do not cover damage arising from abuse, exposure to extreme sunlight, accidental or intentional damage.
  2. Wear and tear over time is considered normal and not subject to warranty remedy.
  3. Color fastness and wear of fabrics is not covered by warranty.


Any factory defects must be reported within one (1) year of possession. In the rare occurrence that an item is found to have a manufacturer defect, it will be repaired. If it cannot be repaired, it will be replaced. Necessary action is based solely on our discretion. Merchandise sold on an “as-is” or clearance basis is sold without any warranty and is considered a final sale and will not be accepted for return, credit, exchange, or cancellation.

Area rugs can be returned or exchanged within fourteen (14) days and must be in new condition. Any rug returned in less than new condition or odour will be refused. Any rug return or exchange must be accompanied with the sales invoice.


Special Orders

We carry a wide range of manufacturers to satisfy every taste and budget. If a specific furnishing is not found in our large showroom, chances are we can have it special ordered just for you.

Special orders usually take between one (1) and six (6) weeks to arrive. In some instances, it may take longer. Special orders are not subject to cancellation. Availability of merchandise is estimated according to information on hand at the time order is written. Lavoda Home Furniture shall not be responsible for delays in delivery of merchandise occasioned by manufacturers scheduling, stock on hand, availability of materials, transportation difficulty or any other cause beyond our control.



Lavoda Home Furniture offers layaway as an easy way to buy furniture. Please note: Layaway guarantees the price. Layaway merchandise is not physically held in our warehouse. It is recommended that you advise sales associate at least four (4) weeks before you plan to pay off merchandise so that it can be ordered, if necessary, and physically put on hold in our warehouse. Layaway term is six (6) months. Proceeds of layaway may be forfeited if the purchase is not completed on time. Items on clearance are not eligible for layaway.

Keep in mind that items may be discontinued. In the event merchandise on layaway is discontinued prior to being paid off, you may choose to have your funds credited for other items. If you do not wish to choose other items, you will be given a full refund.
